Construction work continues on the Fannborg site

Construction work on the Fannborg site continues, although there have been some delays in the demolition. Breaking of the floor slab and foundations is currently underway. Breaking work is expected to be completed around August 20, and the sorting and removal of materials should be finished around August 26. At that point, the demolition at the Fannborg site will be formally complete. The end of the breaking work will also mark the end of the noise associated with that phase of the project.

Around the turn of next month, earthworks on the Fannborg site will begin with the removal of soil from the bedrock. This phase is estimated to take three to four weeks. Following its completion, blasting will begin on the site.

Parallel to the earthworks, work will be carried out to relocate the existing utility pipes outside of the construction area.
