Public consultation and information
Since 2019, the Municipality of Kópavogur has provided regular information and conducted public consultation on the development of Kópavogur town centre. This has included both statutory consultation and additional engagement intended to support an open dialogue around the project. Consultation has continued throughout the process and has been adapted in response to feedback, with particular attention given to residents in the Fannborg area and older residents.

This overview is presented to ensure transparency and to provide a comprehensive picture of the information sharing and community consultation that has taken place at all stages of the development of Kópavogur town center.
